Job Title: Camera Software Application Engineer (6-month contractor)

Job Function
* A final candidate would be employed by a temporary staffing agency, assigned work at Qualcomm and would qualify for benefits offered by the staffing agency **
Skills/Experience
- Strong C/C++ and debugging skills
- Color tuning, camera sensor, color science and image signal processing
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be self motivated, a good team player and able to work under pressure
Additional skills :
- Prior experience with portable hand-held devices and technical support for customers is desirable
- Embedded or wireless system software development and integration on telecommunications devices
- Familiarity with ARM architecture, emulators/JTAG-debuggers and oscilloscope is an advantage
Specific knowledge in the following area is a plus:
- Experience with Qualcomm AMSS/WM/Android software and MSM chipsets
- Experience in image signal processing and ISP pipeline
Responsibilities - Support QCT camera team
- Debugging camera issues and finding solutions on customer targets
- Tuning image processing pipeline to make the best color reproduction
Education Requirements
- Either of Bachelor's or To be Bachelor's in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering required.
- Either of Master's or To be Master's in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering preferred
